What to expect

Four views from development. This is how the app works today — the interface is still being refined before launch.

Recording in progress: timer at 33 seconds, 66 words, with the German text below and the English translation underneath it. The status bar reads „ANE active“ — the Neural Engine doing the work on-device.
Transcription and translation, liveText appears as you listen, the second language right below it. „ANE active“ means the device itself is doing the work.
Start screen: „Language model ready“, choice between German, English, French, Spanish, and Italian, the „Live translate“ switch is on, target language English.
Pick a language, doneSet the target language, flip the switch. The language model lives on the device — even in airplane mode.
Menu over the transcript with the entries „Suggest corrections“ and „Commit corrections“.
Corrections that stickFix a name or technical term once — committed, it applies across the whole transcript.
Open export menu with the formats Text (.txt), Markdown (.md), JSON (.json), subtitles (.srt), and WebVTT (.vtt).
Take what you needText, Markdown, JSON, and subtitles as SRT or WebVTT. As a local file, no detour.

Why this app exists: It started because someone couldn't follow everything in talks and lectures. It's been in development since spring 2026 — built by one person, in Bavaria, Germany, without investors and without a growth target. This software isn't meant to get big. It's meant to be good and to last.

Nothing. Pricing after the beta isn't set yet — testing now is free.

From iPhone 12 on, everything works as shown. Every release is built and tested on exactly this device.* Older iPhones still record and transcribe — just noticeably slower.

Android comes after iPhone. Sign up anyway — you'll be at the top of the list and hear from us as soon as it's ready. We won't name a date until we can keep it.

* "Tested" means: every release is run through on a real iPhone 12 before shipping — never just the simulator.

Sign-up runs through a server in Germany — no newsletter service, no cookies, no data sharing. We count visits anonymously on our own server, without profiles.
